本研究は,精神科リハビリテーション行動評価尺度(Rehab)を用いて集団療法の効果について検討した。対象は精神科慢性期病棟の患者40名であった。対象者の平均年齢は,52.9±9.1歳であり,在院期間は,平均14年であった。対象者の疾患名は統合失調症が85%を占めた。集団療法の方法および内容は,著者らが本研究で作成した集団療法のプログラムにそって実施した。集団療法終了直後に,ブレイクタイムを設け集団療法に関する感想を対象が言語化し,感情を表現できる時間を設けた。看護者が対象の行動を観察した結果からRehabを用いて行動評価を行い,集団療法前後に得点化し,t検定を用いて有意差を検定した。その結果,社会的活動性については5%水準で有意に改善した。対象の3症例では,自主性,積極性,感情表出が増え,現実的な行動がみられ,外出等の行動範囲が拡大した。

In this study, we introduced group therapy in the chronic stage ward in the Department of Psychiatrics using the "Hall and Baker Rehabilitation Evaluation (Rehab)". The subjects were 40 patients who were admitted to the chronic stage ward in a Department of Psychiatrics, with a mean age of 52.9±9.1 years, and a mean hospitalization of 14 years. Eighty-five percent of the patients had asyndesis. The methods and contents of group therapy were performed in accordance with the program. Immediately after the end of group therapy, a break time was established so that the patients told their impressions regarding group therapy and expressed their emotions. The individuals who took care of the patients observed and evaluated their behaviors using the "Rehab", and scoring was performed before and after group therapy. Significance was tested using the t-test. There was a significant difference in social activity (p<0.05). In the patients, the scores for independency, positiveness, and emotional expression increased, and realistic behaviors were observed. Some patients achieved improvement in behavioral range, including excursions out of the hospital.
