主として, 農業・漁業に従事する50才～60才代の人を対象とした保健教育の際, 性に関する調査を行なった。男性は性に対し, 快楽, 愛, 健康のバロメーター等ポジティブな感情を示す者が多いのに対し, 女性はむしろ羞恥心, いやらしい等ネガティブな反応を示している。各夫婦の間にはそれぞれの性生活がある。お互い男女間の性の相違殊に, 加齢に伴う男女の生理の, 相違を理解しあい豊かな高齢期を迎えることが重要であり, 今後の保健教育の進め方に1つの示唆を示した。

We did a survey on the sexual inclinations of a group of 50-60 year-old rural people that attended a health education class. Men showed positive feelings towards sexual such as pleasure, love, and barometers of good health. Women gave negative reactions, such as feeling that these inclinations are vulgar, shameful, etc. Each couple has their own individual code of sexual behavior. It is important to understand the differences in physiological changes between men and women, especially at this stage of life. From the results of this survey, we suggest a guide for educationing senior citizens to improve their quality of life.
