We investigated the influence of a visit to the anatomy dissection class on the image of a corpse that the students of nursing have. They answered our questionnaires about the image of a corpse, their curiosity, their knowledge, their tendency to reject or empathize with the death of others, before and after visiting the class. The results of the survey shows that their earlier positive image of a corpse and their curiosity decreased after the class. It suggests that there may be a necessity for death education to be coordinated with visiting the class.
