障害児のきょうだい関係の特徴を明らかにする目的で, 遊び場面で見られる相互作用の特徴について検討した。その結果, 障害児とその同胞の相互作用の特徴は, 健常児対照群とは異なり出生順位に関わらず, また障害の種類に関わらず, 同胞の方が障害児に働きかけ, 障害児がこれに応えるという構造を示した。その傾向は, 障害児が年下のきょうだいで顕著であった。しかし, 障害児が年上の場合には, きょうだい間での役割行動の逆転は明らかには認められなかった。むしろ年上の障害児が, 同胞と対等に関わろうとしていることが推察された。また, S-M式社会生活能力検査の結果と合わせて考察すると, 年上の障害児は彼らの生活過程の中で, 相互関係の能力を高めていると考えられた。

To clarify characteristics of the relationship between handicapped children and their normal siblings, characteristics of their interactions observed in play situations were studied. In the normal-handicaped sibling group, unlike the normal-normal sibling group, the normal siblings approached the handicapped children, and the handicapped children responded to them regardless of the seniority order or the type of the handicap. This ten dency was more notable when the handicapped children were younger than their normal siblings. However, when the handicapped children were older than their normal siblings, no clear inversion of the roles was observed between them, and the handicapped children tried to be on equal terms with their younger siblings. When the results of the S-M test of abilities of human relations are taken into consideration, older handicapped children are considered to develop interactive abilities in their life with their younger siblings.
