精神薄弱者授産施設に通所する知的障害者58名を対象に, 運動機能, 知的機能, 社会的能力を評価し, 指導員が重症度で区分した2群に差異があるか否かを調べた。男性の右手握力, 巧緻動作, 言語性知能, 社会的能力では両群に有意差がみられた。動作性知能と左手の巧緻動作能力, 言語性知能と社会的能力に相関関係がみられた。動作性知能に両群で差がみられなかったのは, 自閉症者の中に視知覚課題が得意なものがいたためだと考えられた。

This study investigated the abilities of motor, intellectual, and social skills of persons with developmental disabilities to examine the difference between two groups which was divided by staffs according to the severity of disabilities. There were significant differences between two groups in terms of right grasp power of male subjects, fine motor function, verbal intelligence, and social skills. There was the relationship between performance intelligence and left fine motor function, and verbal intelligence and social skills. There was no significant difference between two groups in performance intelligence. Visual perceptional tasks in performance intelligence might be appropriate for some of persons with autism.
