本学MRI装置に付属されているプログラムで測定したT1値およびT2値を, 従来法によって得られた値と比較した。また, このプログラムを臨床応用する可能性について検討した。このプログラムを使うと, T1値, T2値を測定するのに必要な時間は, 従来の方法に比べて1/3～1/2まで短縮できた。T1値については, 静磁場強度に依存するという問題があるが, T1値およびT2値をうまく利用すればMRIを用いたコンピュータ支援診断システム(CAD)の構築や臓器の自動識別などに応用できる可能性がある。

The T1 and T2 values measured with the program, which was installed in our MR equipment, were compared with those measured with a conventional method. The possibility of clinical application of the program was also studied. Using the program, the time required to measure the T1 and T2 values were reduced to one-third to one-half the time used with the conventional method Although the T1 value depends on the intensity of the magnetic field, our results suggested the potential usefulness of T1 and T2 values in developing a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system and in auto-segmentation of organs.
