Kinaestheticsの教育研修システムや臨床での活用状況を知ることを目的として，「介助におけるKinaesthetics」の教育・普及活動が積極的に行われているドイツ・スイスの医療・福祉施設を視察した。Kinaesthetics研修の企画・運営，トレーナーの養成を行っているKinaesthetics協会や，Kinaestheticsを積極的に臨床に取り入れようとしている訪問看護施設，高齢者ケア施設，障害者生活施設などを見学した。臨床現場へのKinaesthetics導入においては，Kinaesthetics協会の研修システムを活用し，施設単位ごとに基本的なKinaestheticsの考え方とその体験を中心としたベーシックコース，臨床に活用していくためのアドバンスコース研修が行われていた。研修の成果としては，職員の腰痛発症の減少や，対象者の動きを引き出す介助ができるようになり対象者の自立が促進されたことなどであった。なお，看護学基礎教育においては，看護技術のテキストにKinaestheticsの内容記載はあるが，トレーナーの資格を有する看護教員が不足しているとのことであった。

In order to investigate education and training in kinaesthetics and its practical use in clinical situations, we visited hospitals and welfare institutions in Germany and Switzerland. We observed the planning and administration of kinaesthetics training in the association for training trainers, and we also observed the clinical use of kinaesthetics in a visiting-nursing institution, an institution for the care of the elderly, and an institution for the physically handicapped. The training system of the kinaesthetics association comprised two courses for each individual institution: a basic course focusing on fundamental principles and an initial experience of kinaesthetics, and an advanced course focusing on actual clinical applications. Positive outcomes of the training for institutions included a decrease in the onset of lumbago in staff, and increased independence of patients through care which encouraged and supported their movement. In addition, although in basic nursing education, information about kinaesthetics is provided in textbooks of nursing procedures, actual instruction is insufficient because there is a shortage of teachers who are qualified as kinaesthetics trainers.
