保育士の視点から発達の気になる就学前児の行動特性を明らかにすることを目的に，就学前の子どもを対象として開発した発達質問紙の「行動2」，気になる子どもに関する自由記述，「子どもの強さと困難さアンケート(SDQ)」について検討した。なお，「行動2」は不注意，多動・衝動性，柔軟性の乏しさ，興味の偏りなど発達障害にみられる行動特性を示す項目で構成されている。SDQ による評価では，保育士が「気になる子ども」53名のうち50名が少なくとも１つ以上のサブカテゴリーで支援の必要性がHigh Needであり，とくに「行為面」，「多動・不注意」，「向社会性」に支援の必要性が高い子どもが多かった。「気になる子ども」と対照群の子どもの「行動2」の項目の出現率を比較すると，8項目中6項目で「気になる子ども」の方が高かった。多動・不注意を含む行動の問題や社会性の問題が保育上の課題として捉えられる傾向が示唆された。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the behavioral characteristics of preschool children with special needs from the point of view of nursery school teachers. The children were assessed with a developmental questionnaire using a checklist of behavioral problems, such as attention defi cit, hyperactivity, in 5 to 6-year-old children. In addition, nursery school teachers were asked to describe behaviors which they pay attention to when observing behaviors of children. Behavioral screening was administered to children with special needs using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire. Fifty children among fifty three children had high need in at least one subscale in SDQ. High scores derived from conduct problems, hyperactivity/inattention, prosocial behavior. It was suggested that special needs were related to behavioral problems and social skills.
